Another quiet month in the real estate market in Saugeen Shores! We saw 25 new listings and 34 homes were sold. The average sale prices are dropping in the area as the market continues to be sluggish. Buyers are not buying. Economic uncertainty and interest rates are being quoted as the reason for the slow market. The other issue is that homes are still being priced with high market values. Seller’s still believe they can get the same prices as they did during COVID, however it’s now a Buyer’s Market, not a Seller’s Market and prices are going to have to come down until Buyer’s start buying again.
